Bond Vet announced it will open several locations across the northeast, including clinics in the Boston and Washington, DC area throughout 2022. This marks its first expansion outside the Great New York City area, where it debuted in June 2019 and has since grown to 11 locations.

“We pioneered the concept of urgent care in New York, and we’ve seen great traction — we’re clearly filling a need for modern pets and pet parents,” Mo Punjani, MBA, co-founder and CEO of Bond Vet, said in an organizational release.

“Since we opened, we’ve innovated to meet the needs of our clients and patients, and we’re excited to bring our full suite of services—urgent care, primary care, telehealth, surgery, dental cleanings, and more—to the pets of Boston and DC,” Punjani continued.

Bond Vet has filled a critical role in veterinary medicine between primary care and emergency care since its inception. Open until 8 pm and 365 days a year, its clinics are designed to see patients promptly for accommodating common medical issues.

With 4 key pillars the company focuses on to accelerate the veterinary field (ie, culture, service, design, and technology), the company's main focus is on compassionate care for both humans and pets. In an industry with high rates of mental health struggles, Bond Vet is highly focused on the health and well-being of its team members to foster more fulfilling, sustainable careers, and in turn, improved pet care.

“It’s important to me that we’re constantly elevating the experience both for our team and our clients,” noted Zay Satchu, DVM, co-founder and Chief Veterinary Officer. “We want to make a positive impact on the veterinary industry nationwide, so expanding beyond New York is a huge milestone for us and our mission.”
