The 2009 Veterinary Economics State of the Industry Study revealed that practices with a manager earned an average gross revenue of $1.2 million compared with $646,000 for practices without a manager. In addition, the average revenue per full-time-equivalent (FTE) doctor at a practice with a practice manager was $400,000.
