AVMA conference attracts record-breaking number of attendees

Washington - 7/31/07 - The 144th American Veterinary Medical Association Annual Conference had another record-breaking year, attracting about 300 more attendees than last year's unprecedented number.

AVMA reported the following attendance breakdown:

Veterinarians 4,214

Veterinary Students 400

Veterinary Technicians & Tech Students 462

Exhibitors 1,523

Spouses, Children and Guests 3,591

TOTAL ATTENDANCE 10,336
