New York-The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) has launched a national public service campaign featuring actress Kim Cattrall to educate Americans about the importance of emergency pet preparedness.

The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) has launched a national public service campaign featuring actress Kim Cattrall to educate Americans about the importance of emergency pet preparedness.

Cattrall, who is a star of the hit HBO original series, "Sex andthe City", is joined by a 1-year-old rescued Chihuahua mix named Shelbyin the national print and television public service announcement campaign,ASPCA reports.

ASPCA's Web site, www.aspca.org, details evacuation preparation proceduresfor pets, supplies that should be included in an emergency pet kit and howto arange for a "safe haven" for pets. ASPCA is also offeringfree pet emergency stickers that pet owners may obtain by e-mailing: beprepared@aspca.org.
