Virbac Animal Health announced that Genesis® Topical Spray is available in a smaller, 8-ounce bottle. The new size is being offered in response to feedback from veterinarians and their clients.

Genesis Topical Spray is the only topical therapy demonstrated to be as effective as oral prednisone for flea-allergic dermatitis. It contains no antibiotics and is free of dye and fragrance.

Side effects are minimal, and the dosage can be customized to a patient's changing needs, the company says. In addition to the new 8-ounce size, Genesis will still be available in the original 16-ounce bottle.
