Video

Dr. Charlotte Lacroix explains why you shouldn't be so hasty to sign a veterinary employment contract.

OK, doctor. Imagine you've just been offered a new employment contract. Before dotting your i's and crossing your t's, make sure the agreement provides you stability, says Charlotte Lacroix, DVM, JD, founder and CEO of Veterinary Business Advisors in Whitehouse Station, New Jersey.

At the 2019 Atlantic Coast Veterinary Conference (ACVC), Dr. Lacroix spoke with dvm360 about veterinary associate contracts and shared the three big questions you should be able to answer before signing them: "Why am I signing this? What am I getting out of it? And what security am I getting out of it?"

Watch the video below to hear Dr. Laroix share more about how to get the most out of your contract.
