AUSTIN, TEXAS — The American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP) plans to launch what's tentatively titled The Catalyst Summit, an invitation-only conference charged with exploring how to reverse the trend of decreasing feline visits among practices while ownership rises nationally.
A preliminary outline for summit was announced last month during AAFP's fall conference in Austin, Texas. At least 40 stakeholders will be invited to attend the meeting, which likely will take place in early February in Palm Springs, Calif. The group's intention is to explore the topic from a medical perspective.
