3 tips for selling your practice

Video
Downtown Charlotte, NC

In this dvm360® interview, Fetch Charlotte faculty member Dr Marc Rosenberg shares invaluable nuggets to further be discussed during his upcoming lecture

Are you considering selling your practice? Marc Rosenberg, VMD, medical director of Vorhees Veterinary Center, will be leading an insightful lecture on this topic at the Fetch dvm360® Charlotte Conference next week.

In this interview, Rosenberg previews 3 points he will touch upon, including planning an exit strategy, surrounding yourself with experts, and more.

The following is a partial transcript of the video.

Marc Rosenberg, VMD: But once you dive in, and you decide that you're going to sell your practice, this is important: surround yourself with experts. See that you have a financial advisor or an accountant that you can have confidence in. Find yourself an attorney that can assist you, it can't be your brother-in-law, who's a patent attorney, it has to be someone who is an expert with acquisitions and mergers.
