2009 Year in Review: The winner's circle

2009 Year in Review

The odds were 50 to 1 that Mine that Bird would take the Kentucky Derby. The 3-year-old gelding co-owned by veterinarian Leonard Blach did just that. In fact, the racehorse went on to take second at the Preakness Stakes and third at Belmont. Go to Veterinarian's horse beats 50-to-1 odds to win this year's Kentucky Derby.
