Veterinary homeopathy group sues over continuing education credit denial
October 1st 2011Leucadia, Calif. - The Academy of Veterinary Homeopathy (AVH) has asked a Virginia circuit court to award it more than $70,000 in damages after its continuing education (CE) courses were denied approval by the American Association of Veterinary State Boards' (AAVSB) Registry of Approved Continuing Education (RACE) Committee.

Lab veterinarian sues Michigan university of termination
October 1st 2011Detroit, Mich. - Dr. Karen Hrapkiewicz, former clinical veterinarian and director of the Division of Laboratory Animal Resources at the Wayne County Community College District Veterinary Technology Program at Wayne State University, is suing the school, alleging she was fired in retaliation for protesting the university's laboratory animal practices and for her age.
UC-Davis develops vaccines for Rift Valley fever
