Mark E. Peterson, DVM, Dipl. ACVIM

Dr. Peterson, a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, has served as the head of endocrinology at The Animal Medical Center in New York City since 1980. He is also the founder of Hypurrcat, a radioiodine treatment center for cats with hyperthyroidism with practice locations in the New York City area and Portland, Maine. He received his doctor of veterinary meidicine degree in 1976 from the University of Minnesota, and completed an internthip and medical residency at The Animal Medical Center.
