
Bartonellosis may be a very important infectious disease just on the horizon in veterinary medicine. Its place in human medicine is becoming more firmly established on a daily basis. Will veterinary medicine soon follow?
Dr. Straus is a 1977 graduate of the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. He interned at The Animal Medical Center in New York City and completed his residency in internal medicine at The Ohio State University. Straus became a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in 1982. He is currently a referral veterinary internist at the Animal Emergency and Referral Center in West Caldwell, NJ.
