Dr. Carroll is an associate professor of anesthesiology at Texas A&M University. She received a master?s degree in animal science with a major in genetics and her veterinary degree from the University of Tennessee. Dr. Carroll was a small animal practitioner for eight years before returning to North Carolina State University for a postdoctoral fellowship in postoperative analgesia. At the conclusion of her fellowship, she completed a residency in anesthesiology at NCSU and became a diplomate in the ACVA in 1992. She has been at Texas A&M since 1991.
