
In 25 years of talking to primary-care veterinarians about their struggles with dermatology cases, I am convinced that the major cause of frustration is time management.
Dr. Foil is professor emeritus in the Department of Clinical Sciences at the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in Baton Rouge, La. She is a board-certified diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology. She retired in 2007 and now works as a part-time consultant for the Veterinary Information Network (VIN).
