IntraCell Gel is a sterile, hydrophilic wound dressing consisting of Maltodextran NF powder containing 1 percent ascorbic acid. Upon application to a wound, IntraCell Gel forms a vapor-permeable protective film barrier. This natural bandage adheres to the tissue, protecting the wound from outside contamination while promoting a moist healing environment for new cell growth below the surface. IntraCell Gel, having both bacteriostatic and bactericidal properties, has been clinically proven to promote faster healing and vascularization while minimizing scarring. IntraCell Gel is effectively used on both small and large animals. It is a companion product to IntraCell Powder.
