On Jan. 14, Welch Allyn introduced the Digital MacroView Veterinary Otoscope, a handheld video otoscope with a USB connection that offers live and still images of the ear canal and tympanic membrane. The otoscope lets users focus the image without moving the specula in the ear, which improves patient comfort. The new scope works with all existing Welch Allyn 3.5V power sources, including power handles and wall transformers.
