Veterinary Oncology: Growing Awareness

Chad Johannes, DVM, DACVIM (SAIM, Oncology), assistant professor of veterinary clinical sciences at Iowa State University, talks about how pet owners are becoming increasingly aware of veterinary oncology therapies.

He has seen a huge change in awareness when it comes to specialty medicine in general, but there are still a number of pet owners that don't understand these new therapies are out there. Increasing access and awareness will only further advance the types of therapies available.
