Sometimes you love your work, sometimes you love you coworkers and sometimes ... well, you roll with the punches. Here are some selections from our special Valentine's Day edition of the Vet Confessionals Project. Submit you own secret obsession at

I called off my wedding and started dating one of my DVMs shortly after. It's been 8 yrs and we are still together.

Give me all the angry, aggressive, alligator-rolling, bitey, clawing kittens. I LOVE working with these little bastards! Crazy Cat Vet

Love how invested our clients are in my love life. When I said no to being asked if I was married yet, the client actually told me, "Tick-tock, tick-tock," in a room full of clients. Bless his heart.

I'm thankful I married a vet!

We quit a toxic clinic because of an office romance (and a terrible boss). We are now happily married with awesome jobs!!!

My husband and I bonded over an explanation of a blocked cat in plumbing terms. My husband is a plumber.

I still LOVE being a vet--after 35 years!

I have the best wife in the world. Will be married 50 yrs in Dec. I don't like company, so we got a mentally compromised Siamese cat to keep people out. LOL!
