Former CEO Stephen Hadley to be named executive vice chairman of the board

Thrive Pet Healthcare—a national network of over 350 veterinary hospitals—recently announced the appointment of Odis Pirtle as chief executive officer (CEO). Stephen Hadley, DVM, MS, the former CEO of Thrive Pet Healthcare, has been named executive vice chairman of the board and will continue to focus on advancing the veterinary profession through technology and innovation, according to a press release from the organization.

Pirtle most recently served as Thrive Pet Healthcare’s president and interim CEO for 6 months, and COO for more than 3 years. During his tenure, he was instrumental in developing the company’s strategy for building its network of primary, acute, and specialty veterinary hospitals. Previously, Pirtle served as CEO of THRIVE Affordable Vet Care and in multiple leadership positions at Pfizer Animal Health and Zoetis.
