Advanced Monitors Corp. announced the release of Vet-Temp, an instant ear thermometer for pets.

The Vet-Temp thermometer measures an accurate core body temperature from the ear in one-second.The Vet-Temp VT-150 was developed to satisfy customer requests to make a simpler device, the company says.

The thermometer is the only one of its kind, and has been clinically proven to be accurate, the company adds.

The product correlates closely to rectal temperature measurements and is less stressful on the pet.
