Ingrid Johnson, CCBC, a certified cat behavior consultant with Fundamentally Feline, goes through the steps of a cat behavior consultation.
The first step of a behavior consultation is for the client to fill out an extensive behavior questionnaire so Johnson can better understand the different dynamics in the home. She then sets up either a home-visit or phone consultation. If a home visit is set up, Johnson takes a tour of the house to critic the home environment. Lastly, she creates a behavior modification plan specifically for that client.
