Gina Fallish, BS, CVT: We really want [technicians] to be supported. They are the backbone and the heart of every animal hospital and they want to grow, and they want to be recognized for that growth. So, we put our assistants through Penn Foster's online Veterinary Technology Program to receive their certification. We [also] sponsor them and pay for them to go through the program, and we provide mentorship and support for these students as they go along.
