Tissumend II, described by VPL as a more advanced composition, is based on the original methoxypropyl cyanoacrylate technology developed by Poly-Med, Inc.The adhesive polymerizes to form a strong bond between most tissue surfaces within 10 seconds after application. Tissumend II is supplied in a box of 20 pre-filled pipettes packaged under dry nitrogen for increased stability and shelf life.
