In addition, the anchors can be used with a variety of other periarticular applications, the company says. The suture anchors are available in 4 mm and 4.7 mm diameters with each size available in 6 mm and 10 mm lengths.
The anchors are applied with a unique tapered driver that simplifies handling and application of anchors. The driver atraumatically releases the anchor after insertion into a pre-drilled hole, resulting in superior anchor-bone interface, the company says.
IMEX⢠suture anchors are engineered with a smooth-hole transition to minimize potential damage to suture, the company adds.
