IMEX Veterinary, Inc. introduces suture anchors that are screwed into bone to act as insertion points for sutures used in reconstruction of ligaments, joint capsules and tendons. The anchors also can be used with various other periarticular applications. The anchors are available in 4 mm and 4.7 mm diameters with each size being available in 6 mm and 10 mm lengths. IMEX anchors are applied with a tapered driver that simplifies handling and application of anchors. The driver automatically releases the anchor after insertion into a pre-drilled hole, resulting in superior anchor-bone interface. IMEX suture anchors are engineered with a smooth hole transition to minimize potential damage to suture.
