Pooch Pads introduces the Surgical Stretcher Pad, designed to double as an operating table pad and small animal stretcher. The pad allows animals to be transported from the operating table to the healing pen without being moved onto a separate stretcher. After surgery, sturdy poles can be inserted into openings on either side of the pad to form a stretcher that can be used to transport the animal safely and securely. Featuring a super absorbent inner layer, the pad is able to retain more than 40 ounces of fluid without leaking, the company says. The soft, durable Surgical Stretcher Pad is X-ray safe, washable and compatible with all heating devices.
