Nutramax introduces Oxstrin, a veterinary exclusive oxidative stress inhibitor containing super oxide dismutase (SOD) complex.
The product is made to maintain the oxidative balance in dogs by up-regulating SOD levels and gluthathione peroxidase, the company says.
The SOD complex protects from gastric degradation and allows for its uptake by the dog's gastrointestinal tract. Veterinarians can manage oxidative stress through up-regulation of key enzymatic antioxidants, the company says.

The product is supplied as a scored chewable tablet in 30-count bottles.
