Splint application: Step 5
Part five of this step-by-step veterinary pictorial tutorial shows how to use newspaper to make spica, meta and back splints.

Use adhesive tape to secure the splint further. This tape or other outer adhesive wrapping material covers the entire splint and must be applied to the skin to some extent to prevent slippage cranially and caudally. (See next photo.)
