When you think back on veterinary school, you probably remember a lot. The sleepless nights, the intensive training, that one time you saw an entire equine digestive system on the floor and didn't think anything was weird about it (and probably didn't until you explained it to your non-veterinary friends later). What you might not remember, however, are the very origins of the veterinary profession. Here's a little reminder, straight from the notebook of veterinary student and artist Leatrize Gonzales.
