Short-Tip Mastitis Tubes

Pfizer Animal Health announces that its three mastitis products, Amoxi-Mast®,Dariclox® and Orbenin®-DC, are now available in short-tip tubes.Amoxi-Mast (amoxicillin) and Dariclox (sodium cloxacillin) are labeled foruse in lactating cows. Orbenin-DC (benzathine cloxacillin) is for use indry cows. All three products require a veterinarian's prescription. Short-tiptubes have several advantages over the longer-tip tubes, both in avoidingteat damage and in reducing the risk of new infections, the company says.
