TAMPA, FLA.; Sharn Veterinary Inc. introduces the RespSense veterinary end-tidal CO2 capnograph, a new widescreen CO2 monitor.
The product measures and displays carbon dioxide in both expired (ETCO2) and inhaled air (FICO2), and shows respiration rate.
It provides a wide waveform display and both ETCO2 and respiration trend lines for better diagnosis, the company says.
The RespSense monitor, made specifically for veterinary use, has a large touch-screen (4 ¾ in. x 2 ½ in.) for setting high and low alarms easily, the company adds.
The monitor is lightweight, weighing 2 pounds and is battery operated for portability.
Battery status and fault messages are also shown.
The company offers six different monitors to choose from, depending on what the veterinarian is interested in, the company says.
