Shift Schedules introduces scheduling software that helps to ease thescheduling of employees to daily work shifts and tasks. The programs areExcel spreadsheets tailored to specific scheduling needs. They combine aclinic's scheduling needs with its employees' qualifications and preferencesto create daily work schedules, the company says. Some of the spreadsheetsautomatically schedule people to daily shifts and days off while othersallow the practice manager or owner to do the scheduling.

Spreadsheets are available to schedule both fixed and rotating shifts aswell as split shifts and complex shifts where employee availability variesfrom day-to-day, the company says.

Assigning multiple daily tasks (or clients) to employees is the specialtyof one of the programs while another will automatically rotate staff throughdaily office duties. Many of the spreadsheets create files that can be usedby the QuickBooks Pro accounting software for employee payroll and clientbilling, the company says. The spreadsheets work on both PC and Mac platformsand require the Microsoft Excel (or compatible) software.
