Jorgensen Laboratories, Inc. introduces the BioSonic ultrasonic scaler. The Biosonic scaler uses patent-pending circuitry to switch automatically between 25K inserts and the newer 30K subgingival inserts. It also features a turbo button for maximum power, the company says.

The BioSonic scaler is a small, compact unit with a one-year warranty, the company adds.
