Dr. Veterinary Practice Owner

Good Doctor Animal Hospital

222 Overworked Ave.

Pet City, USA 12345

Dear Dr. Owner: I am writing to introduce myself and tell you of my availability to work as a relief veterinarian at your practice. I am interested in practicing high-quality medicine in a hospital that will use my abilities fully and where I can contribute to its continued success.

I have practiced on dogs, cats, and exotic pets during the past four years working at a private small animal hospital. I am particularly interested in endocrinology and feline medicine. I have performed numerous surgeries on small mammals, especially ferrets, and I will be happy to provide my medical and surgical services to your patients.

My experience has helped me learn many aspects of private veterinary practice, such as the importance of the human-animal bond, client education strategies, and handling management responsibilities. These skills can now be put to work for you.

My varied background combined with my sense of responsibility, motivation, and excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish qualify me as the ideal candidate to become your relief veterinarian. I will make positive contributions to Good Doctor Animal Hospital next time you or any associate needs to be absent from the practice.

I take daily or weekly assignments and will also consider Saturdays and overnight emergency assignments. Please feel free to contact me at any time to request additional information or to schedule a personal interview. My résumé and references are available upon request. I await your reply and favorable consideration with great interest.

Regards,

Jo Relief, DVM
