Richard Stone, DVM, DACVIM (SAIM): When we think about multidisciplinary rounds, we're talking about clinicians from very different backgrounds that might hear the same case, see the same case, but bring up a different questions when it's time to understand a little bit more about the case, right? And that, in turn, I think helps everyone in that rounds process and that handoff process learn. And that's the real value, is not only does it improve the safety for the patient, but it improves the sort of culture of learning and training that you want to have in your hospital for continuous improvement.
