Recent Legal Issues for Veterinarians

Debra Vey Voda-Hamilton, Esq, principal at Hamilton Law & Mediation, talks about some of the recent legal issues veterinarians need to be thinking about.

One issue is regarding telemedicine. Veterinarians need to know the laws in their states with regard to what you can and cannot do when it comes to telemedicine, Voda-Hamilton says. Another issue is regarding client or employee dissatisfaction that may lead to litigation. Veterinarians need to decide whether they will address the conflict head-on, or roll over to litigation.
