IMEX Veterinary, Inc. introduces two-hole polypropylene suture buttons that are used at the lateral femur to simplify suture tie-off when performing the toggle pin method of coxofemoral reduction.
The buttons offer a lower profile and cost-effective option to bone tunnel techniques or use of a second toggle pin, the company says. Each button is 6.5 mm x 14 mm in dimension with each hole measuring 2.0 mm in diameter. Most large suture materials are accepted through the 2.0 mm holes, the company adds.
