Pet Supplies Plus offering pet identification deals for National Pet ID Week

In honor of National Pet ID Week from April 17, 2022, to April 23, 2022, Pet Supplies Plus is providing discounted microchipping services at select locations and free name identification tags at all stores with the purchase of a dog or cat collar.

According to a company release,¹ select Pet Supplies Plus stores will collaborate with VIP Petcare—the national veterinary care platform of PetIQ—to provide a $15 microchipping services voucher to pet parents with any in-store purchase made during National Pet ID Week. The voucher is valid through June 6, 2022. Additionally, all Pet Supplies Plus locations will provide a free pet ID tag with an in-store purchase of any cat or dog collar purchased during the week.

The American Humane Association cites that 10 million pets get lost in the US each year.² Thus, this Pet Supplies Plus and VIP Petcare initiative will help support pet identification and ensure it is more affordable and accessible.
