Pet health company launches "vet-strength" supplements and sampling program
Vetnique Labs showcased 2 new supplements and more at the 2026 Veterinary Meeting & Expo.
Pet health company Vetnique Labs recently launched 2 supplement products and a new sampling program. Glandex Max Vet Strength Anal Gland Health Chews (Glandex MVS) provides support for anal gland health, and YuMOVE MVS supports hip and joint health.1
These supplements can be obtained by pet owners from their veterinarians and were showcased to attendees at the 2026 Veterinary Meeting & Expo (VMX) in Orlando, Florida. The VetPass program also provides product samples that are exclusive to veterinarians.
Glandex MVS
Glandex MVS is the “highest-strength version” of Vetnique’s branded line of anal gland support supplements. This supplement has been shown to improve stool quality in 3 to 7 days and reduce scooting in 2 to 4 weeks.1
“Our vet-recommended Glandex line continues to evolve as we learn more about the complex relationship between digestive health, stool quality, and anal gland function. With Glandex MVS, we’re delivering a more advanced, higher‑strength formulation designed specifically for the clinical needs veterinarians see every day,” James Bascharon, DVM, founder and CEO of Vetnique, said in a news release.1
Glandex MVS features 19 active ingredients. These ingredients include a proprietary blend of fiber to promote stool bulk and mechanical anal sac compression; zeolite, a mineral that helps remove toxins from the body and minimize gas caused by added fiber; and other prebiotic and probiotic strains to support stool quality, microbiome balance, immune modulation, and pathogen suppression.1
“We believe our advanced formulations should be available only through veterinary professionals and practitioners who understand the right products to recommend to support optimal anal gland health. Our ongoing innovation in anal gland health ensures that Glandex continues paving the way with science, integrity, and as the gold standard of care,” Bascharon said.1
Shaylee Russ, veterinary marketing manager for Vetnique, said the company has a multimodal approach to its portfolio of products. “It makes the health care routine so much easier for the pet parents,” Russ said in a dvm360 interview at VMX. “Pairing [Glandex MVS] with the [new] anal gland spray—this one now has lidocaine and hydrocortisone, so very fast acting, a little bit numbing—[helps] the dogs be a lot more comfortable. And then paired with our wipes that have DeoPlex in them for deodorizing [and] aloe for soothing.”
YuMOVE MVS
YuMOVE MVS is a rebranding of the former YuMOVE Advance 360 Max Strength product. The new packaging was designed to highlight the benefits of this formula. It contains glucosamine and N-acetylglucosamine to support the production of joint structure and production of molecules that build cartilage, a blend of ω-3 ingredients that includes hoki fish oil and green-lipped mussel to promote an inflammatory response, hyaluronic acid to help lubricate joints, and antioxidants for neutralizing free radicals.1
“We have other formulations and products that are [over the counter]. They are for pets that may be showing clinical signs, but the max vet strength represents our strongest formula—the most medicine, the most active ingredients, [and] highest percentage of active ingredients,” Jason Prime, director of Vet Channel for Vetnique, said in a dvm360 interview at VMX.
According to Vetnique, YuMOVE MVS contains a scientifically proven formula that is backed by clinical study. Results are shown in 6 weeks with use of this supplement.1,2
“We feel so confident in this formula, and we can back it up with the science,” Allison Winer, senior public relations and social media manager for Vetnique, said in a dvm360 interview at VMX. “Pet parents see results within 3 to 6 weeks. Their dog is running again, faster walks with them, greeting them at the door.”
Although YuMOVE MVS is only available through a veterinarian, it does not require a prescription, Prime said. “But there needs to be a conversation [about] the products in a veterinary clinic, and that's the only access that the client will have,” Prime said. ”We want the client and the veterinarian to be in on that conversation: What's best medicine for their pet?”
VetPass
The VetPass program delivers samples to veterinary practices on a monthly basis and offers rebates to their clients that makes in-office purchases for these products. Distributed to clients by veterinarians, the samples give pet owners the opportunity to test palatability with their companion animals before they buy the products.1
Glandex MVS flavors include peanut butter, bacon, and savory beef, according to Vetnique representatives. “Palatability matters to us, very much,” Russ said.
