Admission is free for the public and attendees are encouraged to bring their dogs with them so long as they are fully vaccinated and people-and dog-friendly (ie, no retractable leashes). Attendees will also be given the chance to participate in the Pooch Pride Parade Costume Contest the starts at 11 am EST with over $500 in prizes for the most original dog-owner look-alike and the best overall costume ($10 entry fee).
Additionally, DogtoberFEST is set to offer a variety of specialty vendors including live music by Moosetracks, Ask-A-Trainer and Ask-A-Vet Booths, an enrichment trail for attendees and their dogs, Paw Painting with CARMAA, training demonstrations by Daisy's Dog Training, grooming demonstrations by Woody's Dog Wash, and more.
All donations for the event will go to each participating rescue and shelter (donation amount will be based on proceeds).
Both rescue and shelter exhibits will be FREE (if vending products are included, there will be a $50 charge). Pet businesses start at $150 per booth and nonpet will be $500 per booth. For more information and to submit completed exhibitor forms, visit the event website.
