Staci Alonso, founder of Noah’s Animal House, talks about the PAWS Act — a federal bill being considered that would recognize pets in protection orders. Pets are currently considered property so they can't be included in protection orders. If this bill is passed, judges would be able to recognize pets in domestic violence protection orders.
