Merial introduces new packaging for Eqvalan® (ivermectin), an equinedewormer. While Eqvalvan packaging has a new look, the anthelmintic andboticide is still available in the formulation of 1.87 percent ivermectin.It is available in liquid or paste and fully effective against 35 speciesand stages of parasites including large strongyles, small strongyles, bots,roundworms, pinworms, hairworms, stomach worms, lungworms and intestinalthreadworms, the company says. Eqvalan also protects against summer sorescaused by Habronema and Draschia ssp, dermatitis caused by Onchocera ssp.and benzamidazole-resistant small strongyles and is 100 percent effectiveagainst all infective stages and species of bots, the company says.
