Virbac introduces Epi-Otic Advanced for the care for chronic cases of otitis externa, an inflammation of the external ear canal in dogs.

Epi-Otic Advanced contains an anti-adhesive technology that helps prevent microbial attachment and potential infection, the company says.

The anti-odor technology neutralizes the bad odors typically associated with otitis externa. While the original Epi-Otic is a gentle and effective routine ear cleanser for many instances of otitis externa, feedback the company received from veterinarians indicated that a portion of their clients had more aggressive forms of the condition, warranting an advanced medication.

Epi-Otic Advanced contains a neutral pH and is available in 4-oz. and 8-oz bottles.
