Orthopedic Mallets

Spectrum introduces its new line of orthopedic mallets. The green-handled, soft-grip mallets are available in .50 pounds, .75 pounds, 1 pound and 1.5 pounds.

The lightest mallet comes with two interchangeable nylon discs, which can be replaced easily.

The green handle is made from a special autoclavable silicone composition that can withstand temperatures of up to 300 degrees. The silicone handles provide the surgeon with better feel and provides better gripping, reduces shock and lessens hand fatigue, the company says.

The product is made in Germany and uses stainless steel.
