-- A $100,000 grant from the Rockefeller Foundation will go toward national and global One Health Commission initiatives.
The grant, announced March 5, will support the One Health concept, established in 2006 as a part of then-American Veterinary Medication Association (AVMA) President Roger Mahr's agenda.
The One Health program is aimed helping human and animal health experts work together to fight zoonotic disease.
