In November, the Ohio Veterinary Licensing Board refiled some newly proposed rules to the Veterinary Practice Act.
A key change included board reversal on a proposal to exclude supervision of veterinary aides by veterinary technicians. The refiled rules maintain the practice of permitting veterinarians and registered veterinary technicians (RVT) to supervise veterinary staffs, and specifically enables RVTs to oversee technician students.
