Official Dog Treat of U.S. Soccer is named

Purina also introduced U.S. Soccer crest-shaped dog treats, giving veterinary teams a timely prompt to reinforce treat limits and calorie guidance.

Soccer fans awaiting the 2026 FIFA World Cup tournament now have a compatible pet snack to include with watch parties. Beggin’, a Nestlé Purina PetCare brand, has been named the Official Dog Treat of U.S. Soccer.

Nestlé Purina PetCare has also launched U.S. Soccer Crest-Shaped Dog Treats made with real bacon, according to a company announcement. The treats are now available nationwide and are shaped like the U.S. Soccer crest. Real meat is listed as the first ingredient, and the product contains no artificial flavors or FD&C colors, according to Beggin’.¹

The new treats are described as soft and tender and are intended for adult dogs. Beggin’ recommends feeding 1 treat per 10 lb of body weight, not exceeding 5 treats per day. The company also states that calories from treats should not exceed 10% of a dog’s total daily caloric requirement.¹

The product is available in 6-oz, 25-oz, and 40-oz pouches at Petco, PetSmart, Walmart, Target, Amazon, and other major pet and grocery retailers nationwide. Beggin’ stated that the treats are crafted in US facilities.¹

The launch also ties into Purina’s myPurina app rewards program, through which dog owners earn 10 reward points for every $1 spent on Beggin’ treats. Additional product information is available at purina.com/beggin.¹

For veterinary teams, the launch is primarily a client education opportunity around treat selection and portion control, particularly as pet owners incorporate dogs into sports-viewing events, gatherings, and other high-arousal household activities. The key counseling point is that treats can fit into a balanced diet when owners account for calories, body condition, concurrent disease, and the dog’s complete nutritional plan. High-visibility product launches often drive client questions, and teams can use those conversations to reinforce individualized feeding recommendations and appropriate treat limits.¹
