Coastside Bio Resources announces the release of DermaSea Oral, a nutritional supplement for canine and feline coat and skin.DermaSea Oral is a combination of Coastsides new sea cucumber lipid extract and high-EPA fish oil stabilized with mixed tocopherols. Applied directly onto daily food, DermaSea Oral provides abundant marine Omega-3 fatty acids and systemic modulation of lipoxygenase associated inflammation, the company says. The new ingredient, sea cucumber oil, is a patented extract of C. frondosa, high in a novel lipoxygenase fighting agent, EPA Omega-3 fatty acids, astaxanthin, marine phospholipids and sterols. Coastside reports that a fraction of this new oil in now in pre-clinical development for treatment of various cancers through the National Cancer Institute, Division of Chemoprevention.
