New campaign gives pet owners money for veterinary care
Help your clients receive $20 to put toward wellness services at your practice.
More than 35 percent of pet owners say they've scaled back on veterinary spending, according to a recent survey conducted by Bayer Animal Health. But you can help your clients afford the care they need by sending them to gettothevet.com.
When they visit the Web site, dog and cat owners get the opportunity to download a $20 voucher that's good toward wellness care from any veterinary practice-including yours. For example, clients can use the voucher to help cover the cost of a wellness examination at your clinic.
What's the catch? There isn't one. The vouchers are provided as part of the Help Your Pet, Get to the Vet Campaign by Advantage Topical Solution from Bayer Animal Health. From Feb. 16 to 28, the campaign will give away up to 80 vouchers every hour on the hour between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. Eastern time, with up to 1,000 vouchers being distributed each day.
To redeem the vouchers, clients must present you with an original, coded copy. You'll fill in your clinic's information, sign the voucher, and give clients a receipt that shows they paid the costs of the veterinary visit. Clients will then mail the receipt and completed voucher to the address listed on the form. They'll receive a check from Advantage Topical Solution within four to six weeks.
