MYOS CORP unveils partnership with Midwest Veterinary Supply

December 13, 2021
dvm360 Staff

This partnership is the research-based nutrition company’s fourth within the veterinary distribution sector and will help propel its advancements within the pet industry.

MYOS CORP—a research-based advanced nutrition company with divisions addressing both human nutrition and animal health—recently revealed it has ventured into a distribution partnership with Midwest Veterinary Supply.

According to a company release, apart from excelling in its direct-to-consumer business, MYOS is making strides in selling its animal muscle health supplements via wholesale with hundreds of veterinarians across the United States. This marks the fourth partnership the company has entered with veterinary distributors and will help accelerate MYOS' footing for its veterinary vertical.

"We remain exceedingly bullish on our vet business," said Joe Mannello, CEO of MYOS CORP. "In addition to providing a strong revenue stream, we greatly benefit from working so closely with such respected medical professionals. Our new partnership with Midwest Veterinary Supply will help us reach more vets and, in turn, help more animals."

In addition, Midwest Veterinary Supply has been family and employee-owned for the past 6 decades with a robust philosophy on building success through hard work and values. What’s more, it provides full-service resources—including online stores and a pharmacy—to the veterinary community with a full-time sales force across the US, thus aligning with MYOS’ plans when it comes to overall veterinary distribution.

"We are excited to begin a partnership with MYOS at Midwest Veterinary Supply, both through our distribution channel and through our online store platform— MyVetStoreOnline,” said Guy Flickinger, president and CEO of Midwest Veterinary Supply.

“MYOS Canine Muscle Formula has been requested by our customers, and it will be a welcome addition to our available pet supplements," added Flickinger.
